I'm Jessie. As a creative storyteller, published author, and marketing and communications specialist, writing is my favorite way to express ideas, opinions, and experiences. It’s like grabbing pen and paper and saying, “Okay, Heart. Okay, Mind. What's up?"

During work, you can find me putting together social media copy, newsletters, or press releases across higher ed, entertainment, and tech. But outside of my 9-5 job, there's nothing I love more than writing essays. Writing is like growing a garden: there's a seed of imagination, and it blooms into something real when I nurture it. It is healing. Honest. Cathartic. And what more joy than to share my writing with you?
